This policy explains how Les Services Garnett handles personal information submitted through this website and information shared while discussing or carrying out a project.
Responsibility for personal information
Les Services Garnett is the public brand of Services Garnett Logistique et Installations, operated by Jake Garnett-Boyd. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to jakegb@servicesgarnett.ca or made by phone at (514) 242-9174.
Information we collect
When you contact us or submit a project inquiry, we may collect your name, email, phone, company, selected project type, locations, timing, scope, quantities, access constraints and other details you choose to provide. We also record an optional answer about how you heard of us or a source label from a tagged campaign link. That label may be kept for the current browser session until you send an inquiry.
If needed to plan or perform agreed work, we may also receive addresses, inventories, room details, reference photos, access instructions and information about fragile, unusual or client-carried belongings.
The website and its hosting providers may process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as browser, device, network and session information.
How information is used
We use information to review and respond to inquiries, prepare estimates and written scopes, plan or coordinate services, communicate about potential or active work, maintain business records, protect the website and meet legal or administrative obligations.
We do not sell personal information or use contact-form information for unrelated marketing without an appropriate basis or consent.
We use Wix website analytics to understand which pages and services lead to inquiries. We record successful form submissions by service and language, and clicks on phone and email links. These events do not include the name, contact details, address or free-text project description entered in the form. Analytics operates through Wix and the site’s consent settings. A link click does not tell us whether a call or email was completed.
Project discretion
Client names, addresses, interiors, inventories, reference photos and project details are not published or used as marketing content without permission. Information collected to plan placement or recreate a prior setup is used for the agreed work.
Wix and other service providers
This website uses Wix infrastructure and Wix Forms. Wix and other providers supporting hosting, email, security, storage or business administration may process information only as needed to provide those services.
Depending on where a provider operates, information may be processed outside Québec. We remain responsible for selecting and using providers in a manner consistent with applicable obligations.
Retention and safeguards
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry, quotation, project, business-record or legal purpose for which it was collected.
Reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards are used in light of the sensitivity, purpose, quantity, distribution and format of the information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Access and correction
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to or correction of that information, subject to applicable law. Send enough detail to identify the information and request to jakegb@servicesgarnett.ca.
You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for continued use, subject to legal or contractual limits and the consequences of no longer being able to provide the related service.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the website, tools or business practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
